The world’s oldest scents deserved a modern home.

Lavender. Fresh linen. Sea salt. Fig. Walk into almost any homeware shop and you’ll meet the same handful of scents.
They are lovely, but the world of fragrance is so much bigger. Imagine jasmine strung across doorways at dusk, sandalwood warming on a temple shelf, cardamom crushed for a pan of chai, or the earthy smell of the first monsoon rain. Further east, the yuzu and hinoki of Japan and the lemongrass of a Bangkok kitchen.
India and Asia have been perfecting scents like these for thousands of years: in Vedic rituals, in Sanskrit treatises on blending perfume, in Japan’s way of incense, in the copper stills of Kannauj. Yet they are surprisingly hard to find in everyday homeware, and when they do appear, it is often as a novelty or at perfume-counter prices.
So we started Atmya: ancient scents, blended for modern living. Fragrances rooted in centuries of Indian and Asian craft, designed simply, for homes anywhere in the world. Whether these scents are new to you or bring back a journey you’ll never forget, they are made to be lived with every day. We begin with six reed diffusers rooted in India. The rest of the route comes next.
Rooted in ancient craft
Every scent begins with a real ingredient and a tradition with centuries behind it, from Mysore sandalwood to Kannauj’s earth attar.
Blended for modern living
Old ingredients, new form. Blends balanced for everyday living, in a city flat or a family house, in any corner of the world.
Calm by design
Clear glass, quiet labels and natural reeds. No flame, no plug, no fuss. Fragrance that works while you get on with life.
